The handoff is the product

Ask anyone who has run a small team where work goes missing and the answer is almost always the same: between people. A request is fine while one person holds it. It gets lost when it moves.

AI agents have the same weakness. A single agent can do a task well and still drop the thread when the task needs another discipline. That is why we think the handoff between agents is not a detail. It is the product.

What a handoff carries

When one of our agents passes work to another, three things travel with it.

If any of those is missing, the receiving agent starts from scratch, and starting from scratch is where mistakes live.

An example

Take a new customer. The Sales agent confirms what they bought. The Legal agent checks the terms they agreed to. The Finance agent sets up the invoice to match. The Customer Support agent knows what was promised before the first question arrives.

Four disciplines, one piece of work. Each agent does its own part, and each one knows what the last one did. The customer never has to repeat themselves.

When a person is needed

Some decisions should never be automated. A good handoff knows that. When work reaches a point that needs a person, it goes to the right person, with the reason and the history attached, instead of sitting in a queue nobody owns.

Show it, don't claim it

It is easy to say agents work together. It is more useful to show the handoff: who passed what, when, and why. That record is what lets an owner trust the system, and correct it when it is wrong.

We would rather show you the handoff than ask you to take it on faith.
